Nice clean place. People were very friendly. It is expensive for an economy motel in a very small town. Breakfast could have been better for the price. But it was OK. Only complaint is the hot water. None. Manager explained that the hot water heater is located in the far end of the bldg. So if you book a room, ask if you are close to the hot water heater cause it will never get there if you are toward the end of the line!
I stayed overnight with my family. They were very friendly especially Jim. He checked us in (and out) and explained everything giving appropriate expectations which were met ie nice large pool, clean rooms, decent breakfast, some exercise gear, etc. They even have us a discount on the room. We'll be staying there again.
Spacious and comfortable rooms, cleaness is ok. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room has typical amenities such as microwave and fridge. Indoor pool is also a good idea to end the day.
The rooms were very clean, including the wall of mirror. Most of the staff were exceptional. We had a small issue with my children using the pool because of extensive restrictions and online registration oversights. The breakfast has limited options (nothing that is warmer than toasted) but decent. Overall not a bad stay for a small town hotel.
Unless you are out of options, don't stay here. Guy working at the counter was rude and acted like we were putting him out when we checked in. All rooms require you to use stairs. Even the 1st floor. Pool was ice cold. Kids couldn't swim for more than a few minutes and they were shivering and blue by then. Other than the small tv, the room, beds, and bedding hasn't been updated since the late 90's. Stayed 1 night and checkout is at 11am. At 8am there was a knock at the door and she announced "house keeping". This woke me and I shouted no thank you. Then she opened the door and announced "house keeping" again! I told her again no thank yoy and she left. WHY? We were scheduled to check out by 11am. Was she planning to clean our room twice that day? So irritating. Daughter forgot her comb and brush so she called the front desk to ask if they might have one. The guy told her no and talked to her lime she was dumb for asking. Then he told her to go to the store. I can't believe that Wyndam is associated with this dive. It's time to demo this place, fire the crappy staff and management, and build new.
